Cookie Policy
Effective October 30, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how QIT uses cookies and similar technologies on qit.energy and in the QIT console. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels. They can be “first-party” (set by us) or “third-party” (set by another domain), and “session” (deleted when you close your browser) or “persistent”.
2. Cookies we use
We use only strictly necessary cookies. They are required for the site and console to work securely and cannot be switched off. We do not use advertising, cross-site tracking or third-party analytics cookies, so we do not show a consent banner.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| qit_session | QIT | Keeps you signed in to the console | Session, up to 14 days with “remember me” |
| qit_csrf | QIT | Protects forms against cross-site request forgery | Session |
| __cf_bm | Cloudflare | Distinguishes humans from bots to protect the site | 30 minutes |
| cf_clearance | Cloudflare | Records that a security challenge was passed | Up to 1 year |
The public marketing pages of qit.energy do not set any cookies of their own. Cloudflare security cookies are set only when its protection systems need them.
3. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the console may not work. Guides are available for Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge.
4. Changes
If we start using non-essential cookies, we will update this Policy and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
